We Sail Across Horizons Eternally

We sail across horizons eternally,
lost in a destiny cursed
by the grey mists of time’s demise.
We walk forever in a reverie sacred,
dreaming for this one cup of wine,
that shall one day cure us of these ills and sins,
and perhaps then we will be free.

But more horizons call, and my eyes still see far
there is an endless sky above and one more life left
my love grows darker as I sail past this sphere unchallenged,
and perhaps there still is a loving heart in this body marred
that beats the blood of freedom and a life too sparse to sift,
born in a battlefield of death and time, we sail this junction of eternity.

Breaking my chains is the task of giants and they are too far now to see,
and yet in the land of multitude I find myself alienated from the darkening mist
this peaceful welcome is the whisper of the field, perhaps not broken by the wind’s crying
Valiant men, all dead behind my wake now climb a rotting corpse of a tree,
but the lord of evil has forsaken this land for a return to his abode of shame
Oh God, I pray to your sacred bounty to bless me with the sword to cleave this growing war.

And then I long for the welcome song to take me back to my ancestral palace,
one of gaiety and lost memories imprinted into the fabric of time
and I realize the futility of His works, for I see before me the ruins and ravages of a time gone past
And I turn to love, the one last god on Earth that may forsake this soul in disgrace,
And perhaps you will understand what I ask of you, to break my chains of eternity
To bring me to a light where I am as broken as the rest of this fractured universe.

Ballad of The Rider – Part I

He rode on through the pale moonlight,
Accompanied by his horse
His boy battered and his heart torn,
This night, it cannot last long.

He rode amongst the men, his friends,
Or so did he them call,
He rode slower than the rest of them,
He had a destiny, he said.
His mind raced faster than the rest of them,
This night is cold for me, only now

He was the rider of the dark,
The knowing man who knew no light,
“It soon shall touch upon my brow,
And then those fools, they will surmise.
Ride into the brightened dawn,
I shall be the one to be furthest of all.”

Sand in his eyes, a shiver in his spine.
The rider knew no peace.
His safety torn, one false gleam
Of hope had he but seen.

And his heart had grown so bitter now,
That he cast it all away-
No friends are these fools of mine,
This light that I shall face shall be new.

He threw away all his miseries,
A new world of light was awaiting him,
The illumination of this sun,
It bathed him a holy stream.
And he regretted the night that he now so missed,
And the world of darkness he had lived in,
The world that was once a dream,
Now seen for its reality.

The sun’s brutal rays on him,
The rider made his way,
His mind ever so dizzy now,
His fear of darkness cost his freedom.

The world of light was terrifying,
And the shadows of the past
Kept him awake in his sleep,
Would it have been a better future?

The rider crawled unto the sand,
His horse had died miles ago,
He surely had come close to his dream,
But was it really worth all this?

The darkness, the cold was so charming,
The rider felt the sandstorm coming,
And he lamented on what he had now become
And his dreams now thrown further,
The darkness gone farther,
And the shadows more sinister.

Rebellious Lament

And the more I think about it,
The closer I am teetering towards,
I beg on his sleeve to save me now,
I beg to lift from me this garb of cowards.

A battle rages forth, and only I can feel it,
They are all immune, and they are all sublime.
Of all of them, I am the light and still shrouded,
In darkness so deep and covered in grime.

The end of the world, is all in my head
And a glorious end, and a fitting one.
Time flies by and this river keeps flowing,
But the end so promised, that is sworn.

A world so cruel, a shame that isn’t one,
An issue so minor it makes me agonize,
This dynamic line as it represents the Giver’s gift,
Laughs at His jaded existence pulverized.

Give me back my eyes, that I saw above ye,
That ye took while I was in this unknown sleep,
The time it sprints now as I try to catch it,
but it looks back and sends a spear into me deep.

Selfless body and a crucified heart,
In this madness, and the chaotic way it paves
Weakness abundant and doctrination cruel,
Turn these men into a hierarchy of slaves.

Scythes forever as the blood gusheth forth,
and purity is a word so archaic and old,
And inside shall find it the sweetest potion ever laid,
I shall find that and it shall be my gold.

Heed this warning, ye slave of the tormented,
Ye slave of an umpteenth tier of enslavement,
The light shall scorch your eyes and purify,
And the end shall pass, except for me -

Heed this warning, ye slave of the tormented,
Ye slave of an umpteenth tier of enslavement,
The turmoil rages and your eyes shall opened,
But vengeance and death shall end your eternal torment.

Absolve my sin

Through these throes of death,
I fall, my gracious Lord!
Absolve me of this great sin,
to take on me Death’s toll!

“Come, ye sinful, ye lusteth to reach here.
Welcome to Hell, the rightful place for thee.
Defy your Lord, yes! And accept this ours.
Our Lord of fire, and the flames is he.”

“Burn in the fire, amongst these sinners.
Burn in my flames, in my infernal heaven.
Feel the pain of Hell’s deepest realms.”
Absolve my sin!

And whence do I go now?
This one flame swallows all.
Only one before whom I bow.
Only before him I fall.

Save my soul from this place for madmen,
Save me from this land of slayers and demons,
Take me to where I am myself,
Absole my sin!

Life is still beautiful, as it was at genesis.
Tempt me not, ye infernal beast.
Leave me to my wordly pains, for I am grateful for them.
Tomorrow I despair, but today I feast.

The melodious rhythm of life’s forces awakening,
as the red gushing raced inside me.
Never shalt I commit this lasting sin.
Never shall I need to cry.

Absolve my sin.

What came way before.

What was rolled.
