10 Creepiest Deep Sea Creatures

These are a bunch of really, really scary sea creatures. The scariest I found were the Gulper Eel, the Vampire Squid, the Giant Squid (of course) and the Viper Fish, a perfect silent predator. But actually, all of them are scary, to some extent. A related Digg discussion revealed some more scary fishes.

the oar fish is actually an eal. it one day got tied up with a fishing net and tried to swim away. Befor it could free itself it streched out 15ft and is now the total of 21ft. it was so embarassed of its largeness that it decided to swim down and be with the rest of the ugly fish.

One day when goblin shark was swiming along. a group of demon trolls caught him and beat him with a ugly stick. After his brutal attack he to was so embarassed that he swam down to the depths of the ocean to never be seen again except by his long lost coiusin the oar fish

There is nothing the sea that is truly scary just misunderstood. The giant squid is scared of us and it is probably the shyest animal on the face of the earth. The oarfish is one of my favorite and all of the fish that live down that deep usually have the most ancient designs in the animal kingdom. The goblin shark, now they are very interesting once you get past their face and mouth. Besides it is so dark where the goblin shark lives that it probably uses its nose to make sure the rest of its face doesn’t bump into anything by the way try looking at a Praya dubia it is a creature that lives in the same kind of place that the goblin shark, oarfish, and giant squid live in.

While on board the F/V Tabitha, originally a double rig shrimper ,Desco-hull made of 9in thick fiberglass hull vessel. in the late 90s.We were fishing the finger tow on HECETA BANKS we brought up or net, and we spotted the hollow carcuss of a 30 ft HORN or TAPE fish .It wasmarked with vertacle marks like a tape measurer I was curios of how rare are these fish.
